Development of Professional Competence and Personal Resources

Important topics in the course will be to increase knowledge about legal regulations and professional guidelines connected to the profession as psychologist.
Make students aware of and make them reflect on their premises as role as a psychologist when it comes to the relations between personnel premises and the professional competence.

Knowledge:
The student has knowledge about the four laws regarding health personnel.
The student has knowledge about professional guidelines regulating a psychologist’s work.
The student has knowledge about journaling and professional secrecy.
Skills:
The student can explain own professional and personal development by presenting an own development project.
The student can by reflecting over own development present this with the headlines; “ Where am I in my development to be psychologist?”

Seminars and group tutorials. Approx 30 hours seminar per semester.
