About this course
Content
Efficient energy consumption related to buildings, industry and transport. Energy saving in cities, Smart City. Energy efficient buildings (low energy houses, passive houses and pluses). Different forms of heat transport. Enøk. Demand-driven energy consumption (smart solutions). Various types of heat pump solutions. Heat recovery in industry. Energy efficient utilization of garbage. District heating and biogas production. Energy efficient storage of thermal energy. Use of energy beans.
The course is integrated and consists of 2.5 credits of profession coursework and 5 credits of technical content.
Learning outcomes
General knowledge - The candidate has knowledge of various measures for energy efficiency. - The candidate has knowledge of energy efficient buildings such as low energy houses, passive houses and pluses. - The candidate has knowledge of the right energy use and measures for energy efficiency in the construction, industry and transport sector. - The candidate has knowledge of energy economics (ENØK). - The candidate has knowledge about environmental problems related to energy production and energy use. Skills - The candidate can apply knowledge to solve theoretical, technical and practical issues related to efficient energy use. - The candidate can assess the energy consequences of different energy solutions. - The candidate can make simple calculations on energy efficient buildings General competence - The candidate must be able to evaluate different forms of energy use against each other. - The candidate can retrieve information and update his / her knowledge within the subject field
The candidate can disseminate the technical content in simplified manners to relevant courses in high schools.
