About this course

Content

The course provides an overview of, and discusses what promotes or inhibits development and innovation in organisations. The focus will be on change and development in organisations and on discussion of how to lead and facilitate such processes. Key concepts related to the innovation research field will be treated in the course. The course draws on both individual and systemic perspectives. Based on concrete examples and theory, the implications of knowledge in working with leadership, change, development and innovation in an organisation will be discussed.

Learning outcomes

The goal is for the student to gain insight into change and development work, as well as acquire knowledge about innovation in established organizations. Furthermore, the student should develop their understanding of planned organizational changes and become familiar with terms associated with the innovation field, with a particular focus on employee-driven innovation. The aim is for the student to be able to use this knowledge to lead, participate in, and facilitate innovation, change, and development in organizations.
