About this course

Content

For students planning to take Specialization project in Engineering geology of rocks, Engineering geology of soil and Environmental geology/Hydrogeology, the following 7,5 sp topic is to be selected:

Engineering geological field and laboratory methods (professor Bjørge Brattli, professor Bjørn Nilsen, assoc.prof. Krishna Panthi)

This topic includes field course at Snåsa in August and laboratory work.

For students not planning Specialization project and master thesis in Engineering geology of rocks, Engineering geology of soil and Environmental/Hydrogeology, and as temporary solution for Autumn 2013, topics of 3,75 may be selected from the following list:

Teaching methods

Field- and laboratory assignments,and/or guided self study, in some cases supplemented by exercises, seminars and individual lectures. The course will be held in English if international students attend.
