About this course
Content
Social media, Computer supported cooperative Work (CSCW); coordination; shared workspaces; support for cooperation among mobile users; design and evaluation of cooperative technologies; use of cooperation technologies in different contexts.
Learning outcomes
The course is designed to give students a basic knowledge of social media and computer supported cooperative work (CSCW). This knowledge will allow students to compare and choose different solutions for supporting social interaction and cooperative work as well as to design new technologies. Students will also improve their cooperation skills in computer mediated situations and understanding of technology mediation.
Teaching methods
The course is a combination of lectures and project work. The students will work on their project during the semester, including seminars to support project work.
