Norwegian for Foreigners, short courses

The short course is a language course for beginners. The course focuses on basic grammar and use of everyday language in both oral and written production.

KNOWLEDGE:

The candidate's level of knowledge is equivalent to at least Level A1 in the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR).

SKILLS:

The candidate

• Is able to understand and use everyday expressions in order to carry out day-to-day tasks
• Is able to introduce him- or herself and others
• Is able to ask questions and answer questions about his or her whereabouts, acquaintances and possessions
• Is able to interact with another person in an understandable way provided the other person speaks slowly and clearly, and is willing to clear up any communicative issues

3 hours teaching per week. Compulsory attendance at the first lecture. Approved examination's requirements are valid for 4 semesters.
