Supplementary Subject in Church Music B

The subject contains courses in Support Instrument B and Conducting B.

Course in Support Instrument B:
The student can choose support instruction for the grand piano or the harpsichord.
Course in Conducting B:
The course is comprised of conducting technique, interpretation and presentation, methodics, repertoire work and voicing. Compulsory attendance in the Department's church choir.

The candidate
-Has basic skills in conducting techniques.
-Has basic knowledge of conducting choir and ensembles in different sacred music contexts.
-Has basic knowledge of interpretation and rehearsing choir and ensembles.
-Has basic skills in a secondary instrument.

Course in Support Instrument B:
0.5 hours (grand piano/harpsichord) instruction per week for 27 weeks.
Course in Conducting B: this course is estimated to be 15 hours.
Compulsory attendance in the Department's church choir.
