In-depth Subject in Art History

Taught each spring term. The subject may vary from year to year and may e.g. concentrate on medieval art and architecture, architecture and art from the 20th century, gender perspectives on art history or any other topic relating to the institute’s fields of research.

The course proposes a close study of a given subject in the history of art, as well as theory and method relating to the said subject.

Lectures and seminars.

Course requirements: Approval of participation in seminar with oral presentation documented in writing (approx. 5 pages) before final exam.

More on assessment: The assessment will be a one week home exam (approx. 5000-7000 words).

Students are required to check the results of their assignments on the department's bulletin boards.
