Space Technology I

An introduction to Space technology and Space oriented activities will be presented. Mechanics in Space. Weightlessness and microgravity research. The atmosphere. Rocket technology. Satellites. Observational satellites, environmental observations. Communication and communication systems. Man in Space.
A concentrated course, two weeks, autumn term.
This course gives the basic knowledge for taking TTT4235 Space
Technology II in the spring semester.

The course should give an introduction in some important parts of Space technology.

The course will be given as a concentrated one in two autumn weeks. Lectures at afternoon time. Essay/report on subject chosen in cooperation with lecturer, compulsory.
