Assessment and Language Learning

The subject provides an insight into various theories about assessment and language teaching and how assessment can promote learning. The subject presents various approaches to assessment and language learning. The module also includes assessment from a digital perspective.

The student can
- describe, interpret and use national mandatory directives for assessment and learning
- describe national and international research on assessment and learning from a political perspective and understand the interrelationship between work on the national and international level in this field
- discuss how teaching methods, work form and assessment contributed to language learning
- understand and make use of professional and theoretical concepts within the assessment area
- plan, carry out and assess teaching in accordance with current curricula and mandatory directives
