  • has a basic understanding of hardware, operating systems virtualization and cloud solutions for both client and server use.
  • has a basic understanding of computer networks
  • has a basic understanding of the historical development of the IT subject, especially in networking and system administration.

Skills - The candidate:

  • can use command line interface on most commonly used operating systems.
  • can implement basic solutions for data storage, backup, and recovery.
  • can install, configure, cure, and upgrade operating system and software.
  • can perform user administration and access control on most commonly used operating systems.
  • can perform basic troubleshooting and log analysis on most commonly used operating systems.

General competence - The candidate:

  • is aware of how IT automation affects organizations.
  • is aware of the ethical and legal consequences of the distribution of roles within IT systems and data storage.
  • is familiar with how IT systems in production are absolutely central to the behavior of organizations.
