Læringsmål

The students will be able to understand, measure and describe physical, mechanical and material properties that affect the behavior of polymers and composites when exposed to different service environments. Students will be able to understand and use the most important theoretical principles (chemical nature, physico-chemical properties, interfaces, joining, lamination theory, strength analysis, mechanical properties) for the design and construction of products made of polymers and composite materials. Students must design standard components that they will form in the laboratory. Students will then verify their knowledge of design by testing the fabricated components.
