Master's Thesis in Globalization

The academic content of the Masters thesis must include a scientific investigation of a theme related to globalization. The thesis must be written in English. It should be between 17 500 - 24 500 words (12 pt, 1.5 spacing, approximately 50-70 pages), and should demonstrate the students ability to carry out an independent scientific research task. The content of the thesis should fulfill an academic level appropriate to a Masters level course, and relate to some of the aspects of the interdisciplinary framework of the courses taught in the Masters programme. The topic for the Master's thesis is selected in consultation with a supervisor.

The students should be able to work with a specialized topic in an academic manner. The students will be trained in the formulation of research questions and in gathering and analyzing data. The students will achieve competency in analyzing processes of change related to globalization.

Individual supervision. The deadline for submission of the Masters thesis is normally 2nd of May. The student must have passed all courses in the Master's programme before the Master's thesis can be submitted.
