Audio Programming

The aim of the course is to provide a solid foundation in digital signal processing and audiobased application development. Integration of relevant technologies and platforms will play an important part, as well as developing user-ready applications.

Knowledge:
After completing the course the candidate:
- will have an overview of the important parts involved in audio-based application development.
- will know about a range of programming tools and platforms and how they can be integrated in audio applications.

Skills:
After completing the course the candidate:
- can adapt digital signal processing methods to specific audio applications
- can develop audio applications for web browsers and mobile platforms - can critically assess the usability of audio applications made by her-/himself and others

This course will be based on a flipped classroom model with:
- a set of video-based lectures and programming assignments
- guided work on selected programming topics
- a two-weeks intensive workshop (30 hours)
