This course builds on the theory introduced in Computer Graphics I. In addition, students will learn how to apply this theory using advanced graphics engines (e.g., Unity3D) in projects involving immersive technologies, such as (but not limited to) - Virtual Reality (VR) - Augmented Reality (AR) - Mixed Reality (MR)

Læringsmål

Knowledge: - Have knowledge of selected topics in computer graphics. - Have knowledge of algorithms and data structures used in computer graphics. - Have knowledge of concepts and technologies related to VR, AR, and MR. Skills: - Be able to demonstrate programming skills in advanced graphics engines. - Be able to create interactive computer graphics using advanced graphics engines. - Be able to create immersive applications using advanced graphics engines. General competence: - Have general knowledge about the subject's possibilities and limitations. - Have the competence to analyze and communicate research questions within the field of computer graphics. - Have general knowledge required to contribute to innovation in the field of computer graphics.

Læringsformer og aktiviteter

Lectures, exercises, and discussions in groups and in plenum, and practical laboratory work. Mandatory exercises: 1-3 mandatory assignments that must be passed to gain admission to the examination.
