Læringsmål
A student who has completed this course should have the following learning outcomes defined in terms of knowledge, skills and general competence:
Knowledge:
- Can demonstrate in-depth insight into topics in natural resource management through relating theory to practical management.
- Can discuss current management challenges through active contributions in lectures and reflexive use of examples from fieldwork.
Skills:
- Can critically evaluate and reflect on the positive and negative characteristics of the different approaches to planning and management of natural resources.
- Can evaluate and make informed and individual choices between different approaches to natural resource management on an independent basis.
General Competence:
- Is able to disseminate knowledge and communicate topics to both peers and a broader audience in written texts and oral presentations in English Contribute to innovative thinking within the field.

- Mandatory field course (up to 3 days)
A student work based on field course and mandatory seminar(s) must be approved before a student can take the exam. The format of the student work will vary and can deviate from a traditional term paper. It is expected that compulsory assignments and examinations are completed in English. Exceptions must be clarified with the lecturer responsible for the course.
