The entire or at least parts of the course will be given digitally, and it will consist of lectures, seminars, workshops, as well as a mandatory, small-scale fieldwork. This small-scale fieldwork done in groups will take place in Trondheim, in the late afternoon/evening during the intensive course. The purpose of the fieldwork is to try out/use selected methods (observation, interviews etc.) for collection and analysis of ethnographic data. The students will present their fieldwork during the intensive course week, and a short group report must be handed in. The students must have completed/passed the fieldwork task in order to turn in their exam task.
