The Nordforsk network "Stay or Go" is organizing a PhD course on questions and methods in studies of plant migration, persistence and adaption processes in response to environmental change. In this course, a number of researcher working with these processes will teach you about the different approaches they use and their applications.
Læringsformer og aktiviteter
By the end of the course, you will during a one day group work identify questions that at present are in urgent need of answers and develop a plan for a study that could benefit from a combination of the presented plant ecology methods.
This one-week course will be held at the Abisko Scientific Research Station from 2-8 September 2011. Twenty students can participate. Priority is given to PhD students, but Master students may also apply.
Travel (up to NOK 5000) and accommodation will be paid by the Stay or Go Network.
