Teaching and Education in Building and Construction for Teaching Specialists

Training and teaching in the program area, as well as an emphasis on guidance and assessment, are emphasized as the main theme in the course. The central working method in the course will be planning, implementation, assessment, and documentation of teaching in one's own practice. The use of practice in schools and companies, collaboration with students, apprentices, colleagues, and management will be important in order to be able to develop teaching and facilitate collaboration. Collaborating with the pupils, apprentices involve competence in seeing the need to adapt training, differentiation of interests, use guidance strategies, and various forms of assessment that promote learning. Development and use of digital competence as well as an overview and insight into relevant research. The course aims to map, plan, and facilitate a Research and Development work that will be important for one's own school in a holistic development context.

Knowledge The student - can analyze management documents in the Knowledge Promotion and emphasize new guidelines such as the overall curriculum, current reports to the Storting, a new structure in vocational education and training. The teaching alternates between presentations, discussions, and practical exercises. The course is a collection-based course. In the intervening periods, we will work with work requirements and use online resources. Guidance is attached to all work requirements between the sessions and at the sessions.
