Drawing and Trade Studies, part 1

Technical drawing, understanding of concepts, computer modelling, 3D, dimensioning and calculations with the focus of avoiding building process mistakes. Drawing in DAK as an intruduction to the course "Drawing and trade studies, part 2". The production of drawings and descriptions, understanding of the process towards the end result of construction plans, simple descriptions of materials and amounts. Develop teaching in accordance to relevant curicculum goals while adapted to different groups of students in grades 8 through 13.

Knowledge The student should

• be able to draw simple plans, sections and detailed drawings in DAK
• be able to draw simple hand sketches related to his / her own tasks
• have basic knowledge of products and services in construction and engineering
• have basic knowledge in planning, implementation, documentation and assessment of own work
• have knowledge of and overview of relevant curricula that can be seen in the context of the subject; "Drawing, Production and Industry Part 1", on steps 8-13
• have knowledge of different learning strategies based on the pupils/ apprentices' learning conditions and the right to adapted training

Skills The student must

• have digital skills, for the production of digital drawings and models, and be able to master methods and tools for producing such work
• be able to express themselves orally and in writing in construction and engineering
• be able to calculate time, price, weight, volume, quantity, sizes and masses
• be able to use digital tools in construction and engineering planning, production, documentation and communication
• be able to analyze curricula
• be able to plan, implement, assess and document teaching for different groups in drawing, production and industry

General competence The student can

• disseminate knowledge within his / her subject area to different target groups with text and drawing
• disseminate subject matter in writing and orally and using digital tools
• apply its e vocational, vocational didactical and technological knowledge

The course includes session-based learning and exercises between the sessions. The working methods varies an might include lectures, group work, presentations etc.
