About this course

Content

The course comprises advanced topics within field of expertise like life cycle management, optimisation and machine learning as part of digital building processes. Topics included are future risks and possibilities (climate change etc), new building concepts (i.e circularity), advanced and innovative solutions, systems and processes.

Learning outcomes

After the course the students should:

have an in-depth understanding for selected topics within the digital building process.

be able to do some programming, choose and use appropriate methods for simulations or analysis of various important aspects such as project planning, CO2 emissions, etc.

be able to read and analysis scientific articles, and thereby orientate themselves regarding the relevant scientific front.

Teaching methods

The course will be given through seminars which require active participation. Each student shall have 3 assingments of which all have to be accepted before access to the exam is granted, In addition, there is supervised self-study, where the students works with a project of recommended. The seminars and supervision will be in English.
