Telematics - Information Security, Specialization Project

The specialisation project consists of one term project of 15 SP.

The student will learn how to acquire specialized knowledge in a specific area of information security by applying scientific methods for gaining knowledge of principles, methods, protocols, algorithms and contemporary tools for securing information in distributed systems and telecommunication networks. The tasks involved are searching and studying relevant litterature, using other relevant information sources and combining this with own knowledge. The student will also learn how to work independently with a project, present a project plan with milestones, report partial results on a regular basis, and write a project report in accordance with accepted standards.

Supervised individual project work on a task description approved by the professor.
