Material, Production and Quality Management

The course is founded on the principles of Continuous Improvement, Lean Production, and Statistical Quality Management. The students are introduced to methods and techniques for process improvement, eliminating waste, efficient production and assuring the quality. The course id focused on premises of Pull Production and Just-in-Time philosophy, continuous flow, and defect-free production.

Etter å ha gjennomført emnet Produksjons- og kvalitetsteknikk, skal studenten ha følgende samlede læringsutbytte: Kunnskaper Kandidaten skal ha grunnleggende kunnskaper om 1) prinsipper og teknikker i "Lean Production" 2) prinsipper for produksjonsstyring. 3) hvordan kvalitet kan bygges inn i produksjonsprosesser. Ferdigheter Kandidaten skal være i stand til å anvende faget i opplæring i videregående skole og bedrift. Generell kompetanse Kandidaten skal kunne relatere oppnådd kunnskap til eget fagområde og anvende dette i egne bedrift.
