About this course

Content

The course is built up around projects where students work with design, detailing and completion of basic products for industrial production. Students will explore how the joints, fasteners, materials, production processes, surface treatment etc. affects aesthetics, form, function, manufacturability, production cost and sustainability. 3D modeling and prototyping (3D printing) are important tools in the course.

  • work with 3D modeling and prototyping at granularity.

Teaching methods

Lectures, project work with feedback sessions, assignments and model making.

Course program requires students to be present at lectures.

This course is offered to incoming exchange students and will be taught in English if necessary.
