Aesthetics 2: Drawing Technique 2

The course aims to further develop the candidates' knowledge and competence in basic observational drawing with advanced drawing techniques in projection drawing and act drawing. The students will develop knowledge and experience in describing simple and more complex geometries in a precise way.

Knowledge:

The candidate learns

• Coordination between the brain, the eyes and the hand that gives a completely separate and unique form of awareness - a separate way of thinking that both increases creativity and opens up a completely different and deeper learning process, when both the left and right hemispheres of the brain are activated.
• the ability to see, analyze and understand the world with a sharpened visual attention as important reasons for drawing. Drawing is the basic DNA
• of the design profession.Through sensory-motor learning, they gain practice, insight, experience and knowledge in drawing by further developing the coordination between the brain, eyes and hands.

Skills:

The candidate

• through practical exercises gain experience and skills in drawing as an instrument for seeing, studying, understanding and communicating form. The students get exercises in simple and more advanced drawing techniques such as projection drawing and act drawing.
