LNG - Basic and Advanced

The course runs over three full days with topics and topics, focused on safety and issues related to gas as a fuel. Instruction is given in suitable facilities with appropriate audiovisual aids, and in the laboratory with access to necessary equipment and facilities for practical demonstration and exercises, including a simulator review. STCW requirements for the individual participant's crew function on board are a prerequisite. The course ends with a written exam, type "multiple choice".

The course is developed on the basis of IMO model courses, and the course plans of the Norwegian Maritime Authority.

The course 'LNG - Basic and Advanced' is held in Norwegian and runs over three full days where day 1 is basic and days 2 and 3 are upper secondary, and is normally carried out jointly in classrooms with various demonstrations, group discussions and assignments.
