About this course

Content

The department offers specialization within 3 different core activities with close connection to ongoing research activities. The theoretical subjects which is a part of the spesialization is mentioned under, but other options are possible depending on the specific background of the given student. Each subject corresponds to 3.75 SP.
1. Metal production and recycling. Coordinator: Prof. Leiv Kolbeinsen.

2. Material development and -use. Coordinator: Prof. Hans Jørgen Roven.

3. Materials for energy technology. Coordinator: Prof. Svein Sunde.

TMT6 Electrochemical energy technology (will not be part of this year 2011/2012)

Learning outcomes

Give specialization within a given part of the total range of subjects.

Teaching methods

The theoretical subjects will be organized as a combination of study groups, lectures and self-tuition. If there is a re-sit examination, the examination form may be changed from written to oral.
