- Predict materials behavior for different products and structures.
General competence:
The candidate will get competence on:
- The use of different materials to meet particular specifications for a wide variety of industrial applications.
- Design and selection of materials for specific applications.
Teaching methods
Lectures, exercises and laboratory work. The teaching is to a high degree based on exercises carried out as group work. The students be divided into groups of four students at semester start and the group will jointly carry out the laboratory work. The exercises will be reported individually. If there is a re-sit examination, the examination form may be changed from written to oral.
