Joining Methods and Welding

Gluing as a joining method. Screw joints, snapping, nailing, and soldering.
Welding technology: concepts, arc-welding methods with emphasis on TIG and MIG/MAG. Pipe thread. Covered electrodes and powder welding. Plasma and laser welding. Explosion welding. Aluminum welding and HSE. Thermal cutting methods. Weld defects and welding procedures.

Learning outcome:
Knowledge: The candidate is given an introduction to the most common method of joiningmethods and welding methods in order to facilitate production and make the right choice when purchasing equipment. The candidate should have basic knowledge for further study and future vocational practice. Skills: The candidate can identify, plan and implement projects within their own fields, work tasks, experiments and experiments, both independently and in teams. The candidate can find, assess, use and refer to information and subject matter in order to shed light on a problem position. General competence: Candidate has insight into health, safety and the environment and consequences of selected solutions within its field.
