Pressure vessels thin- and thick-walled, fatigue, pressure and crimp connections, belts, shafts, rolling bearings, screws, gears, and calculation of statically loaded welds.
Learning outcomes
Learning outcome:
Knowledge: The candidate has knowledge of the characteristics of the steel and use of such as construction materials. The candidate has achieved competence in the calculation and structural engineering, use of standards and catalogue material. Skills: The candidate is capable of dimensioning, designing, and assembling machine elements according to function requirements. General competence: The candidate has insight into the technical implications of selected solutions within its field. The candidate can communicate knowledge within its field to various audiences both written and orally, in Norwegian and English.
