Mathematics 2

1. Calculus: Functions of real and complex variables.

2. Linear algebra: Eigenspaces and diagonalization. Vector spaces and linear maps. Inner product spaces.

3. Fourier analysis and systems of differential equations.

The student understands concepts, results, and methods from from multivariate function theory, fourier analysis, linear algebra and differential equations, and is able to use these to formulate and solve problems in mathematics and its applications, if necessary with the additional aid of mathematical software.
