About this course

Content

The specialization project may be based on strength analysis and fracture mechanics, biomechanics, material mechanics, fluid mechanics - including turbulence- and multiphase modelling, where numerical computational techniques will be typical core elements. The most project works will be connected to industrial applications.

Learning outcomes

The student shall learn to specialize him/herself within the choosen area in a scientific manner which includes to collect supplementary information from literature study and other sources and to combine found information with own knowledge. Further, the student shall learn to carry out an independent project work including preparation of a project plan with milestones, report results and to write a project report in accordance with approved standards.
