Separation and Environmental Technology, Specialization Course

The specialization consists of modules giving a total sum 7.5 stp. Modules (3.75 stp)are chosen from the following list:: TKP13 Gas cleaning, TKP14 Membrane separation and adsorption fundamentals, TKP15 Crystallisation, TKP4 Special topics in chemical engineering, TKP1 Environmental and energy catalysis, TKP7 Industrial colloid chemistry, TKP9 Advanced process simulation, TKP11 Advanced thermodynamics, VM4 Wastewater treatment and sludge handling, TEP6 Energy utilisation in industry, TEP7 Industrial heat engineering and TEP31 Drying and dewatering technology. Topics from other courses may also be chosen provided the student obtains permission from the co-ordinator.

The goal is to provide insight and detailed knowledge within the area of the chosen subject.

The modules are given as lectures, seminars, problem sessions, group- or individual studies. Postponed exam is held within the end of the exam period.
