Catalysis and Petrochemistry, Specialization Project

The course will be a laboratory project within Catalysis and Petrochemistry. The project will be given within current research activity in the group or, in cooperation with faculty, as a collaboration with exteral research institutes or industry. The project work will include definition and limitation of the work to be performed, literature search in current literature, a time schedule for the project, experimental work and interpretation and reporting of results.

The goal is to provide insight and detailed knowledge within the subject and training in planning of experimental work, written and oral presentations and a systematic treatment of information.

Individual laboratory or project-based work under supervision. The project includes a compulsory introduction to laboratory work and HSE (Health, Safety, Environment). The project includes an oral presentation that represents 10 % of the grade on the project.
