Content
Separation by means of destillation and gas absorbtion.
Calculations of mass and energy balances for systems consisting of single and multiple unit processes with and without reactors and recycling.

The candidate has basic knowledge of distillation.
The candidate has basic knowledge of gas absorption.
The candidate has basic knowledge of mass and energy balances for systems consisting of single and multiple unit processes with and without reactors and recycling.
The candidate can perform calculations on and has knowledge of relevant technical equipment.
The candidate can collect and process information necessary for calculations.
Teaching methods
Lectures (60 hours), theoretical exercises (30 hours) and self study (190 hours).
