About this course

Content

Applied heat and mass transport: Applied fluid mechanics, thermodynamic work, heat transport and first and second law of thermodynamics.
Mechanical separation processes: Sedimentation, sentrifuges, gass purification, and filtration.
Chemical processes: stirring, airconditioning, drying, extraction, crystallisation, ion-exchange, adsorption, and membranes.

The candidate can gather and process necessary information for computations.
The candidate can calculate yield and scale separation processes.
