Environmental Geology and Hydrogeology, Specialization Project

The subject cover all fields within environmental- and hydrogeology where the department posses competence. Possible fields for studies and project may be: Use of groundwater, Spreading of pollution in soil and water, Use of unconsolidated soil, Waste disposal, Thermogeology, Landslide.

Ingress:
- The student will learn to specialize in a specific topic within the field.

Knowledge:
- Learn scientific methods through completion of an independent project within the field.

Skills:
- The student will be able to prepare a project plan with milestones, reporting partial results and writing a project report in accordance with established standards.

General competence:
Have a scientific basis for the completion of the master's thesis within the field.

The project work is carried out individually or in small groups of students (normally two) under the supervision of a professor/lecturer.
