Mineral Production, Specialization Course

Two topics, each of 3.75spp, must be chosen from the following list:

Mining engineering and economy,
Coal mining methods,
Resource and reserve modelling,
Applied Rock mechanics,
Geochemistry,
Minerals engineering,
Minerals and rocks,
GIS for mineral development.

Ingress:
- This course will provide in-depth knowledge in the field.

Knowledge:
- The student will acquire specialized knowledge in support of project completion in the field.

Skills:
- The student will be able to find scientific literature and draw out the main elements that are relevant to the project.

General competence:
- Increased understanding of the field.

Topics are normally given as supervised self study, but can also include exercises, seminars or free-standing lectures.The course will be held in English if international students attend.
