Mineral Production, Specialization Project

Specialization is offered in a variety of topics related to geology and rock engineering, such as: waste disposal in soil and rock, use of mineral resources as construction material, technical and economical aspects of mineral resources, economical and environmental optimization of mines and rock excavations, underground and open pit mining, various aspects of ore and mineral dressing.

Ingress:
- The student will learn to specialize in a specific topic within the field.

Knowledge:
- Learn scientific methods through completion of an independent project within the field.

Skills:
- The student will be able to prepare a project plan with milestones, reporting partial results and writing a project report in accordance with established standards.

General competence:
Have a scientific basis for the completion of the master's thesis within the field.

The project work is carried out individually or in small groups of students (normally two) under the supervision of a professor/lecturer.
