Electronic Systems Design, Specialization Course

The course is divided into two parts. The first part is common to all participants in the course. For the second part, the student selects a topic from a list published at the beginning of the semester. Each part is worth 3.75 ECTS credits.

The content of the first part includes practical information and tips on projects and master's theses, courses on literature searching, citation practices, copyright, plagiarism, academic writing, artificial intelligence, written literature review, and peer feedback.

The content of the second part depends on the chosen topic.

Knowledge, Skills, and General Competence:

Part 1:

The student shall:

• Be able to plan and write a project and master's thesis according to the standards of the field.
• Be able to apply important principles regarding copyright, citation practices, the use of AI, and plagiarism.
• Be able to conduct a basic literature review relevant to their project.
• Be able to present their own work.
• Be able to provide feedback on other students' work.

Part 2:

• The student will gain in-depth knowledge and skills within the chosen topic.

The teaching in the first part consists of seminars, courses, self-study, literature review, and peer assessment.

The teaching in the topics of the second part may include lectures, seminars, and self-study. Each topic has its own plan.
