Design of Digital Systems, Specialization Course

The student shall choose two elective themes of 3.75 Sp each. Possible themes:
TFE01 Low power digital design.
TFE02 Hardware/software codesign with embedded systems.
TFE03 Built-in Self-test of digital systems.

A: Knowledge objectives:
This course shall give specialization knowledge in theory for and specific applications of the design of digital systems, such as low power design, test methodology, and hw/sw codesign. The direction of specialisation will be defined by the students choice of spesialisation project.

B: Skills objectives:
The course shall give the student skills within innen analysis and design of systems within the chosen specialization themes.

Lectures, self study, seminars. If the specialization course consists of 2 topics, both must be passed to receive "pass" on the course. Both topics must be repeated in case of a failing result.
