About this course
Content
The course consists of two parts: 1) Introduction to sensor systems: Design of a general measuring system. Static characteristics. Measurement accuracy. Sensor Technologies. Analysis of measurement systems. 2) Practical instrumentation: Construction of complete instrumentation systems e.g. for testing material properties. Development of virtual instruments. Use of data acquisition devices (myDAQ), software (LabVIEW, Matlab), and 3D printer.
