Digital System Design

High level description, simulation and design of digital circuits. Configurable circuits (FPGA), basic digital filter, central processing unit (CPU), real time systems, construction for test and self test. Analog to digital and digital to analog conversion (ADC/DAC).

Knowledge: Candidate shall know about
- connection of digital and analog systems.
- methods for construction of digital systems with hardware description language and design tools.
- methods for design of constructions that can be tested.
Skills: Candidate shall know:
- to design digital systems with computer based development tools.
- realize a digital filter
General competence. Candidate shall have:
- experience with configurable circuits (FPGA) for further use in studies and work.
