About this course

Content

Electronics construction: PCB manufacturing, joining technique, soldering, testing and troubleshooting. Use of CAD tools, simulation and layout. Electrical symbols. Non-ideal electronic components (R, L and C). Analogue interface. Transmission Line. Current Mirrors. Amplifiers and frequency response. Current supplies and voltage converters. Basics of sound, speakers and microphones. Oscillators. Noise analysis and modeling. EMC.

Learning outcomes

Knowledge:
Insight into the development process and production of electronic equipment. Circuit design, layout, PCB, assembly, soldering and testing. Overview of components and connectors used for electronics construction. Basic knowledge of electrical and mechanical construction for electronic circuits.

Skills:
The candidate will be able to: analyze, calculate and build electronic circuits. Could use CAD/SPICE tools for drawing, simulation and layout for circuit design. Make PCB and assemble components.

General competence:
Insight into the development process and production of electronic equipment - from idea to final product.
