Learning outcomes

The aim of the course is to learn the students how to apply the finite element method in the design of various constructions.

Teaching methods

Lectures and assignments.

All lectures will be streamed and recorded, and links to the recordings will be made available from the learning platform.
Supervision of the net students will be done via forum, where the students can submit questions.
There will be no mandatory gatherings at campus in this course.

Expected time usage for a 7,5 credit course:
Lectures: 40 hours
Organized supervision: 10 hours
Work on mandatory hand-ins: 60 hours
Own effort: 90 hours
TOTAL 200 hours
