Bachelor`s thesis in Norwegian Sign Language and/ or interpreting

Specialization through a literature review of theme within Norwegian Sign Langauage and/or interpreting that the students select

Candidates

• Can delineate a theme and define a problem
• Have basic knowledge of some relevant research methods
• Have detailed knowledge within a defined field of study (the theme of the thesis)
• Can find and evaluate relevant information and subject material and present it so that it illuminates a theme
• Can present and discuss theoretical knowledge and practical experiences connected to a delineated problem within a theme
• Can plan and conduct a project lasting over time in cooperation with others and in accordance with ethical demands and guidelines
• Can present the subject matter in an academic text and refer correctly to academic sources used

• Lectures, group work, examinations of source material, field work and supervision from teacher.
• Approved obligatory assignments are valid for three semesters (the semester in which the approval is given, plus the following two semesters). All obligatory assignments must be completed in the same semester.
