The course gives knowlegde about the most common concepts and techniques used to plan and administrer large and complex computer systems/computer centers in a professional context.

Lectures, written exercises, one large, common exercise. Portfolio assessment is the basis for the grade in the course. The portfolio includes written exam (75%) and a multistage, groupwise term exercise (25%). The course also includes an obligatory essay, which is not assigned a letter grade. The results for the parts are given in %-scores, while the entire portfolio is assigned a letter grade. If there is a re-sit examination, the examination form may change from written to oral.
