Construction Engineering, Specialization Project

The project topic may be of a reviewing or research type, or connected to a specific construction project in the design or construction phase. Project topics may be within surface or sub-surface construction engineering. The project work may be conducted individually or through student groups and shall result in a project report. The project work may be designed as a preparatory study for the master thesis.

The student will specialise in a selected topic.

Knowledge

Use scientific methods, e.g. collecting knowledge through literature study and information search, field studies at construction sites, and combine this with theoretical knowledge.

Skills

The student can perform an independent project work, including project plan with milestones, intermediate reporting and writing a report according to accepted standards.

General competence

Documented scientific qualifications through completion of a project report in a field of research.

The project work is performed as an independent work under supervision. Seminarer.
