Highway and Transport Engineering, Specialization Project

The project topic may be of a reviewing or research type, or connected to a specific case of transport infrastructure under planning, construction or operation. Project topics may be within transport analysis, safety or environmental issues, planning, construction or maintenance or operation of transport infrastructure. The result of the project work is a project report. The specialization project may possibly be a pilot study for the following master thesis.

Specialization within a particular topic by using scientific methods. This includes data collection and handling, literature search and review, as well as combining this with theoretical knowledge. Further, the student has to complete a comprehensive project. This includes preparing plans with milestones, point out results and write a report based on existing norms.
