Building and Material Engineering, Specialization Project

The project topic may be of a reviewing or research type, or connected to a specific building or project in the design or construction phase. Project topics may be within building physics, building or refurbishment technology, building materials, masonry structures, fire safety, building acoustics or combinations of these. The project work may be conducted individually or through student groups and shall result in a project report.

Students will complete a project report within the field.

Knowledge:

Use scientific methods in the implementation of a independent work in the field.

Skills:

Students will be able to prepare a project plan with milestones, reporting partial results and write a thesis in accordance with established standards.

General competence:

Documented scientific qualifications through completion of a project report in the field.

The project work is performed as an independent work under supervision. Seminars.
